Located on the island’s south-eastern coast, Arinaga is about 18 nautical miles south of Las Palmas Port. It was designed as a pier to meet the needs of the industries based in the Arinaga Industrial Estate and, with a view to the tourist resorts in the south of the island, to complement the offering of Las Palmas Port.

The port is equipped for future bulk and roll-on/roll-off traffic, although in certain types of bulk cargo this is already a reality.
